Baby Gramps on Letterman
Baby Gramps built the log cabin that he was born in. Here he is on Letterman with the Akron Family, Jason Krekel from the Mad Tea Party, and Bob Dylan’s bassist. The song is “Cape Cod Girls”. Both Gramps and Mad Tea Party will be playing the OUR Fest in Upstate NY, June 6th and 7th 2008. ourmusicfest.com babygramps.com themadteaparty.com

I love my cousin! This was a big moment for him! The whole family was so excited and happy for him! It’s good to see so many of you who also love him and appreciate him as well

Just saw him performing last night at the Nehalem winery in Nehalem Oregon. He was great. Very eclectic, fun to dance to. He’s a nice guy as well. Way to go Baby G!

@pengwenwork I think I would add Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa to that room, then it would be perfect!

If anybody is trying to think up the chords. Standard tuning, and it’s basically playing around with D, G for ‘Bound away’, and A for ‘Australllllliaaaa’. Very simple and very awesome.

OMG! He’s still singing! He still sounds as good as he did, when I first watched him perform 30 yrs ago. And to see him perform live, on national tv is not something you’d expect someone like him to do. Awesome!

Baby Gramps is a Seattle treasure (although I’ve seen him perform more in Oregon). A few years back he opened for Jello Biafra. It made me very happy knowing so many younger people were being exposed to his brilliance. I was standing next to Jello, watching his reaction. Baby Gramps is loved by punk rock icons!
